by Chamber News on January 14th, 2015

The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber Ambassadors joined the Starbucks crew to cut the ribbon at the company’s newest location on North Valdosta Road.

Starbucks has brewed fine coffee for over 40 years and has more than 21,000 stores internationally. The menu ranges from hot and cold coffee beverages to fruit-flavored refreshers and teas as well as hot paninis, yogurt, breakfast pastries, children’s drinks and much more.

The company prides itself on its commitment to the highest quality coffee in the world as well as the connections its employees make with each customer. Starbucks also gives back to the community through youth leadership programs and veteran and military support. The company is also becoming even more eco-friendly through ethical sourcing and building environmentally friendly stores. According to the company’s motto, “From our beginnings as a single store over forty years ago, in every place that we’ve been, and every place that we touch, we've tried to make it a little better than we found it.”
