It’s not too late for aspiring entrepreneurs and start-up companies to enter the 2012 Guardian Bank Business Plan Competition for a chance to win $15,000 in start-up capital and other prizes.

The registration deadline has been extended to Friday, May 11 and registration packets can be downloaded by clicking here.

Registrants are not required to have a business plan in place, as the competition will provide participants with free classes and business plan coaching. Official rules and more details can be found by clicking here.

The competition is an initiative of the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber, in partnership with Valdosta State University’s Small Business Development Center and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, to foster new business development that will raise the per capita income and better the quality of life in Lowndes County.
